Hey -

First off, I apologize for disappearing from the last mixfest thread. Life kind of ganged up on me. One of the items occupying my attention was a little 5 song album that needed be be recorded and mixed, so it wasn't all bad

I'm game to give this one a try. But I won't be able to get to it until next week. The wife and kids will be out of town though, so I'll have slightly fewer distractions

ok so I just tried to get the files, and it says the webpage is forbiden, I tried the stems, the raw tracks same thing, but I can view the track sheet. Anyone else have this problem???

I downloaded these when I first posted this thread and it seemed to work fine. I just now tried to import the tracks in my DAW after reading this. Everything seems to be working fine. I recall exactly, but I think you have to sign up or something before you can download the stuff. Have you done that?

Yup I gave my email, they emailed me a list of all the songs and links to d/l and none work, except the track lists. Can anyone else verify that they work or dont work??

Not sure what's happening. Worked for me. They did come though as a zipped file, I believe. But as far as the links not working, not sure what's going on there.

Gonna pass on this one guys because we just moved into a new house and I'm in the process of building a new home studio. Unless you guys want me to do it without any acoustic treatments in place in a block walled basement.

Try it anyways, Im in the process of making and installing my treatments, by the time i start to mix Ill prolly have about 30% made and installed, Its more for fun than anything else.

On the other hand Ill have to be able to d/l the files to be able to start mixing lol.
@ On Tilt - Is there a way you can put up the file you d/l so we can all get it??? Ive got such a craving to start working again that I even brought up my bands old demo and tried re-mixing it lol

I would know where to post them. That's about 30 5 minute wav files. That's a lot of space.

I just went back to the email I got from them, to see if I could make it work.

Just out of curiousity, are you trying to open the file or save it. I tried open and it just kinda stalled. If I save it, it works.

I actually tried both, opening and saving none of which worked
can you try emailing me your copy of the email???
my email is acidwarp_@hotmail.com, maybe for some reason that would work. If it does we'll just email a copy to anyone interested

update...sorta

I stayed up late one night working on this for a while. Obviously stated up too late. When I listened to it the next day, it was obivous that I should have just gone to bed. Scrapped the whole thing.

Starting over.

Haven't really done anything, been having trouble getting the files down.
Just managed to get them down last night, might take a look at them to night.

Im got them imported, the drums and instruments are 75% done, started mixing the vocals and harmonies and Im not too happy with them, gonna work on it some tonight and see if anything sparks.
