delta 1010 (not an LT) vs dbx 386

Hi, just a couple of questions here:

1. what sounds better (AD conversion wise) dbx 386 or delta 1010? or it's more like the matter of clean sound (1010) vs warm(ish) saturated (386)? :?:

2. working in 24bit, do you still use compressor for tracking? (vocals/bass)

Don't know, others may (if it is a valid question?). I know only of M-A cards and have had faultless service from a pair of 2496's for over 6 years, only a nice gift of cash would shift me (RME!).

Yes if you insist on tracking too hot. No if you "do it properly" and track at -18, even -22dBFS.
