roland 1080 and guitar?

hi,i posted this question in the synth section first and then discovered this thread...my bad.iv got a 1080 synth module lying around,and not a keyboard player,i was wondering...if i bought one of those gk-3 pick-ups,could i play my guitar through the 1080?...thanks,mj
