Steinberg Midex 8

This is my first gear review, so I started out simple. Any advice on future reviews will be greatly appreciated.

So, The Steinberg Midex 8 is an 8 in - 8 out midi interface.
There's 7 in's and 8 out's on the back - out 8 is duplicated on the front alongside input 8.
The front also sports a panic button and an LED for each in/out.

Driver:
The latest (and last) driver for the Midex 8 is for Windows XP. I can't promise anything to the potential buyer, but I've had it running on Vista for a while, and currently use it with Windows 7... No issues at all!

Panic button:
The point here, is to stop a signal that's getting stuck in the chain. I've needed it once, and it worked as expected.

LED's:
When I turn on the device, input 1 lights up (along with the power LED). And as I connected my devices, input 6 (connected to my triton rack out) starts to flash... Never stops... So except for these two, it's really easy to see where the signal comes and goes. (This has been the case on eiter 3 OS's I've used it with). Of cause it's annoying, but I don't use it that much. After all, I don't look, as long as it sounds right.

Overall performance:
I never had a single performance issue. Everything works like a charm. And I'm extremely excited about the fact that it works so flawlessly with un-supported OS's...

Hope it's useful for somebody...
