The Happy Man in the Moon

 play hi-fi

The Story: Prehistoric LogDrummer conjures up the mythical man in the moon. Features synths old and new, along with percussion from the World Cafe.  Someday I will finish this set of samples and put them all on a nice new TweakHeadz CD Rom

The alternate title is "The Log Drummer's Dream". In the beginning you hear samples of my Log drum, a hollow log with wooden strings. Then we get into some dense electronica. Drums were mainly the Yamaha DTX with a little help from the XL-1. The featured synth voice is a tweak on "Ubo Mono" which was dumped to Logic as audio and given the unearthly shimmer. That's straight TX bass, from the original TX and who recognized which patch the CZ101 played?
This was a fun piece to make, and I took lots of liberty to break the rules
