Cleopatra's Rave
In had the concept for this while working the original score of Cleopatra for a client. Cleopatra was not the beautiful woman as portrayed by Elizabeth Taylor in the 1963 movie. She was a headstrong, barbaric and power hungry person who would use any means at her disposal to attain power, including murdering her own family. This song is ode to the real Cleopatra.
I did significant study to make this piece, yet recording it was a total techno-trance blast. It's a true party, a coliseum style rave. Check out Winnie's blood curdling screams and umm, "moans".
